MAY 1 2020

OxMo is launching a photography competition for the first time ever for our newest issue! We are looking for photographs related to the concept of home and belonging in the context of forced migration. Please submit your photograph(s) with a caption with a bio and publishing agreement to the email below.

While our latest of submissions is closed, we will be opening submissions for Volume 9. Issue 2 sometime this summer. Check this space for updates closer to the date.

OxMo welcomes submissions looking at forced migration through the lenses of law, policy, academia, and arts, alongside two sections in which field experiences and first-hand stories by people who have been displaced can be shared. OxMo also includes space for creative expressions in the form of poetry, art, photography, as well as film, book, and theatre reviews. We are particularly interested in encouraging submissions of authors from outside of Europe and North America. Submissions in languages other than English are accepted.

OxMo features first-hand accounts of displacement, academic articles as well as monitor pieces on developments in the field as well as policy and law. For the first time, we also provide space to poetry as well as pieces in Arabic and Spanish. Enjoy reading!
